At ISS AG, we firmly believe that a lot of energy and strength lies in open collaboration. Diversity can be demanding, yet, it is a real strength in dealing with the growing number of challenges and ever-increasing complexity. Our company is proud to have a strong team of talented professionals who bring different backgrounds, skills, and experience. From startup to established service provider in the medical technology industry

Our journey began 20 years ago, on June 26, 2003, with three founders and two employees. Today, we have around 55 employees. Experts from a wide range of fields support our customers with regulatory tasks, conduct clinical trials, assist with strategic decisions, support market access, prepare the necessary certification documents, and develop medical device software. This broad range of services enables us to offer our customers comprehensive support in all aspects of medical technology.

2003 – FOUNDATION

ISS AG was founded as a service company with focus on the medical technology industry. Business areas: Knowledge management, regulatory affairs, worldwide product registrations, and medical software development.

2009 – ISO CERTIFICATION

We have been ISO 13485 certified since 2009. This is the quality management system standard in the world of medical devices. Thus, we know from our own experience what is needed to achieve such certification.

2014 – CLINICAL STUDIES

We decided to strengthen our team in the CRO area and expand our services for clinical studies. We met a growing customer need and now provide comprehensive services in this area.

2020 – CORPORATE SERVICES

We developed a new company strategy and established the Corporate Services unit. In this area, we combine offers related to official procedures (Paralegal Services) or M&A activities (Scientific Due Diligence), in which we provide targeted support with our knowledge.

2019 – 2022 COVID PANDEMIC

Thanks to the new strategy, ISS AG continued to grow despite the pandemic. We enabled MedTech companies in Switzerland, Europe, and the USA to bring their medical products safely and sustainably to the markets worldwide and thus contribute to the health and well-being of us all.

2022 – Management Buyout (MBO)

MBO changed the ownership structure and the management of ISS AG Sandra Item and Bernhard Bichsel took over the management of the company as co-CEOs. With around 55 dedicated employees, we are better positioned than ever to drive our vision forward and continue to support our customers in the best possible way.
