ISS AG is dedicated to fostering strong relationships with both its valued customers and employees. This commitment extends to protecting the data and personal privacy of these groups. Therefore, ISS AG is well-versed in the prevailing data protection obligations and diligently incorporates them into its operations. Consequently, as a Swiss-based company, ISS AG operates within the framework of the Federal Data Protection Act (CH-DSG). Due to its international customer base, ISS AG also aligns with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1.3 Purpose of data processing and its legal basis
The processing of data is carried out for the purpose of contract initiation, execution and completion. The processing of personal data is in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract. Article 88(1) of the GDPR does not apply.
1.4 Data categories and origin
ISS AG processes the following categories of data which has been provided by the individual:
• Salutation, first name, last name, address; e-mail address; telephone numbers;
• Any other data and information that you provide to us and that is required for a decision on the application.
1.5 Recipients
Access to data provided by you is granted to members of the executive management of ISS AG, employees of the HR department, and the immediate supervisors responsible for recruitment. The transmission of your data to third parties only occurs within the scope of legal requirements and only when such third parties have a valid Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in place with ISS AG.
1.6 Duration of data storage
In the event of non-employment, the data will be deleted after 3 months, unless you provide your consent for a longer retention period. Otherwise, data will only be stored if required by the law.
1.7 Rights and possibilities of complaint
Individuals residing in Switzerland can exercise their rights in accordance with Art. 25ff. They have the option to lodge complaints to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Individuals residing in the EU may exercise their rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and data portability as per Articles 15ff of the GDPR. In addition, they possess the right to object to object under Article 14(2)(c) in conjunction with Article 21 of the GDPR against processing based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. They have the right, under Article 77 of the GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if they believe that their personal data is not being processed lawfully. If data has been processed unlawfully according to the GDPR and the CH-DSG, they can also report to the FDPIC.
